  3. Yesterday our Friends of Teignmouth Cemetery volunteers completed their second maintainance round working on the 49 Commonwealth War Graves in Teignmouth old cemetery ….

We have been working on the CWG every Saturday morning since the end of July ie removing ivy & brambles, levelling the ground on the graves and strimming grass on and around the graves plus also strimming safe access paths to each grave….

Only one of the 49 CWG ie HOOK is regularly tended by a local relative

Our FOTC CWG researchers are keen to hear from relatives about local history connected to our 40 CWG.
